The next APAMEI Global Forum will focus on the theme “Transforming Education for a Changing World,” led by the Asia Pacific Association of Methodist Educational Institutions (APAMEI). This event will be hybrid, including an in-person gathering at Aoyama Gakuin University in Tokyo, Japan, combined with an online modality. The forum will happen on January 28 September, at various times, corresponding to different time zones:

This event builds on a series of seminars promoted monthly by APAMEI. The goal of the event is to discuss ways to build society towards a post-pandemic future, based on the distinctive approach offered by Methodist education. The guest speaker is Professor Jeffrey Juan (Claremont School of Theology), who will speak about “The Future of Methodist Education: A Contextual Perspective.” Panelists from Japan, Korea, India, and the Philippines will serve as respondents and participants – both faculty and students – will have the opportunity to join the conversation as well. APAMEI has maintained its series of virtual meetings with great success, involving participants from various countries in Asia, including China.
