IAMSCU President sends Advent message to members worldwide

The IAMSCU President, The Rev. Thomas V. Wolfe, shared his Advent message with the whole network, wishing all a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. As he celebrated the Spirit of the Advent, the Christmas Season, the conclusion of 2021, and the beginning of 2022,

Dr. Wolfe offered some reflections on the importance of seeing the world through the perspective of the Advent as a way of filtering the various facts and events experienced in 2021 without feeling alone and overwhelmed. In his reflection, he invited IAMSCU members to use this time to be more attuned to sense, prepare, and recognize what is coming. In his hopeful message, he also reflects on IAMSCU’s role to offer a new perspective that is intentionally and holistically global. He celebrated the Wesleyan heritage in education and invited schools to bring life to each other by sharing collaborations. He also expressed gratitude for IAMSCU’s role in addressing the need for global vaccine equity.
