Latin American Network for Theological Education (REDIME) promotes Virtual Conference

The Latin American Network for Theological Education (REDIME) is a network of theological institutions, theological leaders, faculty members and students interested in promoting Methodist theological education in Latin America and the Caribbean. The goal of the network is to foster mutual collaboration in theological education, the ongoing formation of lay people and clergy, and a space to share about the challenges and opportunities for the Methodist Churches in the continent. One of the activities promoted by REDIME is a series of online conferences (3 per year). The first conference was held on 22 March 2025, on the theme “Missionary Challenges for Latin America and the Caribbean – Dialogue on the reality of our continent and the challenges for Latin American Methodism.” The second conference happened on June 28, built on the theme of the first, and was entitled “Missionary Challenges for Latin America and the Caribbean – Wesleyan Directions for Latin American and Caribbean Practices,” with Bishop Luís Andrés Caicedo (Colombia) as the main speaker. The third conference was scheduled for November 1, having Cristian Schlick (Chile) as the main speaker on the theme “Nobody is foreign in God’s House: Pastoral Approaches to Human Mobility.” Fabián Rey (Argentina) was the respondent.
