The Philippine Association of Methodist Schools, Colleges, Universities, and Seminaries (PAMSCUS) is scheduled to hold its highly anticipated 3rd General Assembly from November 4 to 7, 2025, at Mary Hill, Taytay, Rizal. The biennial gathering offers a vital platform for Methodist educational institutions across the Philippines to unite in fellowship, strategy, and collective growth.

The assembly aims to build on the successes of previous gatherings—such as the 2nd Assembly in Tagaytay and other exchanges that have enriched the Methodist academic community.
What to Expect at the Assembly:
- Inter-institutional Collaboration & Sharing
- Focus on Educational Excellence and Wesleyan Formation.
- Spiritual Communion & Community Building
Expect sessions on leadership development, theological integration into academic curricula, community service, and enhancing quality assurance within a Methodist educational context.
Looking Back and Forward:
The 2nd General Assembly, held in Tagaytay in July 2023 under the theme “Unifying in Grace, Transforming Learning Communities,” laid the groundwork for greater unity and collaboration among Methodist schools through shared faith and purpose. The upcoming 2025 assembly comes at a crucial time—amidst rapid changes in educational landscapes and societal needs.
Why It Matters:
- Reinforcing Methodist Educational Identity
- Institutional Resilience & Innovation
- A Faith-Driven Response to Societal Calls

In an era of secular pressures and institutional competition, PAMSCUS continues to affirm the uniqueness of faith-based education rooted in Methodist tradition. This General Assembly adopts as its theme the United Methodist call, ”To Love Boldly, Serve Joyfully, Lead Courageously.” All United Methodist-related educational institutions, from preschools to universities, are expected to attend the assembly.
