REDIME continues with its series of Online Conferences

In 2026, the Latin American Network for Theological Education (REDIME) is continuing with its activities promoting theological reflections and initiatives related to the contextual realities of Latin America and the Caribbean. One of the activities promoted by REDIME is a series of online conferences (3 per year).

The first conference in 2026 will be held on April 25, focusing on the theme “Integral and Prophetic Mission Today” to be given by Dr. Phil Wingeier-Rayo. He holds his doctorate in Theology, Ethics and Culture from Chicago Theological Seminary, a M.T.S. from Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary, and a M.Th. from Seminario Evangélico de Teología in Matanzas, Cuba. He has previously taught at Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary, Perkins School of Theology at Southern Methodist University, Pfeiffer University, and Seminario Baez Camargo in Mexico City. Currently, he is the Executive Director of Education at the General Board of Higher Education and Ministry (GBHEM). His research interests are at the intersection of missiology and Methodist studies, and he recently published a book on a Wesleyan theology of mission and evangelism, John Wesley and the Origins of Methodist Missions (Abingdon Press, 2025).

REDIME is a network of theological institutions, theological leaders, faculty members and students interested in promoting Methodist theological education in Latin America and the Caribbean. The goal of the network is to foster mutual collaboration in theological education, the ongoing formation of lay people and clergy, and a space to share about the challenges and opportunities for the Methodist Churches in the continent.
