Southlands College at Roehampton University prepares to celebrate its 150th anniversary

Founded in 1872, Southlands College at the University of Reohampton, London (UK), is celebrating its 150th anniversary in 2022. The College was established by the Methodist Church in 1872, originally in Battersea, as a teacher training college for women and became coeducational in 1965. In 1975, the college became part of the Roehampton Institute of Higher Education, which became Roehampton University in 2004. The institution not only continues to thrive as a Methodis-related institution of higher education in the UK, but it has also participated actively in IAMSCU. Among the many initiatives and events to mark this important occasion, Southlands and Roehampton are promoting an international event on June 30th, 2022. The special celebration of Southlands 150th anniversary will include a daytime conference and evening gala dinner to invited guests.
