Wesley House Cambridge is seeking to appoint a new part-time editor for our open access journal, HOLINESS (eISSN: 2058-5969): www.sciendo.com/journal/holiness. Regular issues are published twice a year (10 articles a year), with occasional special issues by agreement.
HOLINESS is an open access theological publication, providing an online platform for established and emerging scholars and practitioners in the Wesleyan/Methodist tradition from around the world. The journal publishes peer-reviewed articles in the fields of practical, contextual, biblical, systematic, ethical and public theology. It is dedicated to resourcing and extending the learning of the global Wesleyan/Methodist family, with a particular emphasis on decolonizing theological scholarship.
The new editor will be expected to work with the editorial board to develop the global authorship and readership of the journal and to encourage Wesley House’s research students and other new scholars to share the fruits of their study through publication. This is a freelance position, working remotely. Issues are expected to take 100-150 hours of editorial time. A retainer of £1,100 a term (i.e. 3 a year) and a payment of £1,500 per published issue is offered.
